Artist Talk & African Dance Closing Reception - April 25, 2026 3:00-6:30
Join me this Saturday for a free, community-centered experience presented in alignment with the Art Prevails Project—an afternoon and evening of rhythm, movement, and conversation.
Our day begins with an African Dance class at 3 PM, open to all levels, inviting you to connect with the body through rhythm, release, and ancestral movement. At 4 PM, we gather in a communal drum circle, grounding ourselves in sound, connection, and collective energy.
The evening concludes with an Artist Talk from 5:30–6:30 PM, where I’ll share deeper insight into my practice—exploring themes of memory, resilience, and the rituals that inform my work.
All events are free and open to the public. Come for one or stay for all—this is a space to move, reflect, and be in community. Made possible by the Broward Cultural Division.
